Shanghai Concord Bilingual School in Huangpu District of Shanghai is the first private bilingual school with a 12-year consistent system in the region. The goal of this re-design is to allow both students and teachers to enjoy the changes in this new space transformation.The transformation involving redefines the space, simpler signage system, new library management and directional arrangement , also the correlation of lighting, material, and color.

The newly upgraded Orange Hotel has also upgraded its in-house signage system to fit the brand. The first task is that interior signs must be obvious. In addition, we had to continue Orange Hotel’s vibrant and enthusiastic brand positioning and try to add some interesting seasonings to make the simple guiding sign not only a sign but also a light that illuminates the space.

The client of this project is a high-achieving young entrepreneur with great strategic view from Shanghai, and when he has established his own business empire, the Radisson Plaza Xiongguo Hotel, in the center of Shanghai City, was chosen to be the location of the headquarter, situated in a historic building imbued with dark walnut-texture design vocabulary so that all guests and employees can be greeted with a traditional Chinese tea- style reception, so that all professional partners can have a relaxing tea-tasting space for interaction.

REMD has continued the strategic ambition of the enterprise. The headquarters was completed in the middle of 2019, a year after, they took the space on the ground floor. From the entrance to the overall office space, the planning direction continues the style and tonality of REMD on the second floor. By adjusting the internal structure of the building, the brand-new moving line from the entrance to the office areas on the first and second floors was re-connected. After six months of coordination and communication, the whole moving line connecting the upper and lower floors was finally completed at the end of this year.
